I am really suprised at the vast amount of Lancia owners, it is a shame that I don't see more of them on the road. I own two Delta HF Turbos , both of which are reluctantly for sale. Well, my Delta 4WD is back and the performance is amazing - Since the implant of the 300+ BHP engine I've had to go for a rather expensive 2 Stage 6 point ceramic paddle clutch - but it makes all the difference and is well worth the money I can tell you. With the addition of a new dump valve and a 16v intercooler this car really does shift. My thanks to Keith T. who is an absolute top bloke when it comes to making my car what it is - Breath-taking. Once the nylon bush kits are fitted and the suspension geometery is checked its off to the rolling road to see what BHP gets down to the wheels. MPG..... Who Cares...???? Cheesey grin comes as standard when driving this car !

I am presently restoring a1968 Fulvia Rallye Sport Coupe 1.3. It is now going back together mechanically and will do the upholstery and paint next spring. I purchased this car from an Italian consultant in Balikesir Turkey in 1979 and drove it across Europe before bringing it home where it was driven a few years and then sat a few. Would like to correspond with interested parties via email.

I refer to this site a lot. It's first class. Congratulations to Shaun on his acquisition of a Flavia Vignale. I have one and I know of a few around the place. Mine's in a process of very gradual renovation at present. I'd be interested to know more about your car and I imagine so would Peter Burton who I believe still keeps a register of Vignale bodied Lancias (mainly Flavias, but also one or two Appias). There's also a Flavia and 2000 Consortium. If you need details e-mail me. Enjoy classic open-top motoring! Chris Downs Southampton

After 19 years away...I re-purchased my 1976 Lancia Scorpion VIN 101345 which I bought new in 1976 and sold in 1979. The car is still in excelent condition and now has 39,000+ miles...I think it's time to change the plugs and stuff as after all those years and three different owners, no one has bothered to give her a tune up or change her fluids...:o(

Sziasztok, kedves Lancia baratomok. I would like to have any background informationon the Lancia Trevi 2000. My collegues still don't understand why I drive with my 1983 Lancia from Poland to Kosovo, through Bosnia-Herzegovina. I do. Ever since I managed to get the original leather seats installed, it is a personal relief to travel through war torn areas. Even on dirty roads the Trevi endures more than any new car. Besides, even in god aweful Pristina, Albanian mechanics are able to fix it. Thanks for responding to my request. Just one other thing. Wouldn't it be time to start a Lancia Klub in Hungary?

Tremendous Site! I immediately added it to my favorites and will be checking this site out on a regular basis. I currently own a Dedra 2.0ie, bought it for the looks, and to drive a car with a bit more class and style than most mainstream jap and german cars (like Opel, uggggh!!). But now the Lancia virus has got under my skin. I seem to be falling in love with the beta MonteCarlo, but since I'm quite tall (1m94) I wonder whether I'll fit in this car. Could someone tell me if I would fit (behind the wheel of course) of this fine looking car ? Cheers. C. van der Maas

Good site, but a lack of Beta info! I have owned a 1976 Beta Coupe in UK and now own a 1980 HPE 2.0. Have worked on Beta's for 5 years,so can help with most tech problems, [did you know you can strip the gearbox in situ?] I have just recovered my seats in leather, a mission, but great results. I've lost count of how many Lancia's I've had several Beta Coupe's, Delta GT, GTie, HF Turbo's and Prisma. I've restored a 1980 2000 Coupe for road use and have a VX Coupe that I'm preparing for, of all things Grass Track Racing !!!! and I haven't slept properly for weeks whilst my RHD HF4WD is fitted with a 300 BHP Group N engine !!!! I'm definately getting worse as I get older - Keep up the good work - and keep the faith.

Mein Kompliment !!

I posted to this guestbook a few months ago and had a few inquires as to my 1977 Scorpion. I mentioned that I was thinking of selling it and a few folks have asked about it. I guess it's ready to admit I'm not going to get the car back on the road again. At least not with these miserable DEQ standards. I was waiting for the car to turn 21 yrs old so it would be exempt and then the lousy dogs changed the law to every car newer than '74. I've had the car under wraps inside for the last 15 yrs. It sits with less than 14,000 miles on it. New paint, new tires, new Scheel seats, no rust. Asking $5,000 as is. Included are many '75 Beta sedan parts including good engine. Hasn't started in years. E-mail for details. Thanks-

I am currently restoring a B20 2nd series Aurelia #B201525. The car has been in the family for over 30 years and is getting dressed up to go out and play. It was first registered in Victoria Australia in April 1958. Pre 58 little is known of the car except a tale of crashing during a competion event. There are signs of repairs to the r/h/s front and a variety of colour changes, first original deep red, then two tone ice green (metalic) and black, then a mid red. I would love to here from anybody who could supply info or contacts so I can piece together the history. Oh buy the way, the best guestbook I've visited....THANKS!

Until that summer day, when I walked between two building of the company I was working for, I managed to ignore that little kids voice in me. That day I saw in a small Fiat (sorry) 1200 convertible for sale. From that day on I knew that the moment had come not to ignore my inner self anymore and just go for a toy up to my size. Fortunately I quickly realized that Lancia was my make of car. I had owned with great satisfaction a Dedra as company car and still have a vague view of family friends who owned a car my father admired a lot. This is also the reason why for me any real Lancia should be silver gray. From the newspaper I unearthed a Flavia Vignale, not really knowing what to expect I went, saw and fell in love (the thing not to do if you want to by a car). “Fortunately” a friend convinced me that this was not a sound car. Heartbroken I went through all the car adds I could find until I found a Flavia 2000 Coupé. Wised up, I decided not to take my friend along and paid to much for a car which, so far has given me great satisfaction. I started to use it only in great weather but, as I get more confident that this car will never break down, I am using it almost as an everyday car. Still this is not my dream car. For me there is only one car which really gets me .... So, now I am looking for a FLAMINIA CONVERTIBLE 2.8 3C. Either one in a condition better then new or one to be restored totally. So, one advice to those of you who haven’t bought a Lancia yet, don’t start. You might be in it for long.

I'm a semi dormant Lancisti, but like Vesuvious, I could erupt at any moment. Technically, my brother and I own a 65 Flavia coupe, which has been under "restoration" - that is very slowly being made roadworthy - for about three years now. With a few more dollars, it will happen. My brother, Andrew, has just put a deposit on a 67 Flavia Vignale inezione up in Queensland, so I guess the coupe's mine! I don't know a vast amount about the marque, but I'm reasonably strong on the subject of restaurants, since writing about them for a newspaper is my job. Any club members visiting Melbourne can feel free to contact me for advice. Maybe there are some restaurants who would like to give a discount to Lancisti. There's a thought.

NICE PAGE, OWNING A 1982 ZAGATO IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION, (AND TRYING TO KEEP IT THAT WAY)IN THE US CAN BE DIFFICULT BUT WITH FOLKS LIKE ALL OF YOU AND A LITTLE ENGINUITY LIFE IS INDEED EASIER! (BY THE WAY IF YA NEED TECH HELP, EMAIL ME) ORIGINALLY PURCHASED TO USE AS A WINTER DRIVER TO KEEP MY MUSTANG CONV. IN THE GARAGE, IT QUICKLY BECAME APPARENT THE MUSTANG, (DUE TO ITS MASSIVE PRODUCTION NUMBERS, AND INFORMATION GATHERED ON THE NET ABOUT THE LIMITED NUMBERS OF THE ZAGATO) WOULD HAVE TO SWITCH PLACES WITH THE ZAGATO......SO RELAX LANCIA FANS, THE ZAGATO IS CLEAN AS A NEW PIN INSIDE, OUTSIDE AND UNDERNEATH! (YES I HAVE REMOVED THAT NASTY RUST PROFFING FROM THE WHEEL WELLS) AND BEING KEPT SAFELY IN THE GARAGE, EXCEPT FOR SHOWS AND REAL NICE SUNNY DAYS, WHICH BY THE WAY I WON MY FIRST EVER TROPHY WITH ANY CAR USING THE ZAGATO AT A SHOW JULY 4TH,1998................YES I'M PROUD!!! i'm glad i found viva lancia site it's great! i have owned a 87 delta hf turbo ie for the past 7 years and it has been a love hate relationship, hate when the gearbox had to come to bits twice in six months love every time i drive it and it comes into boost on the turbo it's past it's best now and i have to face facts that it needs either loads spending on it or replacing. if i could afford a hf inter evo great ! but i cant, so it look's as if it's going to get a rebuild as i cant think of any cars that would replace it, so wish me luck!

VIVA LANCIA! Love my Lancia Beta HPE 1800 Coupe. My boss, knew I was looking for a car so his son's friend had this Lancia sitting since 1995 with intentions of restoring it, but when he couldn't find parts for it along with not knowing the car Thats when I became the owner,So they had it towed to my boss's house and there it sat for almost another year, and all I could do was wait for the day my boss wasn't so busy with other peoples car problems to start working on this one for me. When we did get started I needed to locate someone in California who knew or could direct me to find these parts I needed. Well, the big problem was getting the wiring schematic cause someone got under the hood and you know the rest, but my boss finally got it all squared away and the day came for me to make it legal and that meant that in the state of Calif. it had to pass the smog. Well it did, So now I'm the proud driver and owner of a 1977 Lancia Beta 1800. with the plates of LKYLANC. This car is sweet. I'm impressed with the handling and over all the car it self. Also this car is in perfect condition inside and out. Thanks for allowing me to share my story, but I did come across one day surfing the net, on a place that knows everything about these cars and has a incrediable listing of anything and everything for Lancia, also there service is 5 *****. The name of this place is called " BAYLESS INC. " FIAT LANCIA WORLD, The ultimate Parts Catalog for Restoration, Repair, Racing from 1953. I've personally have ordered from them and they are the best, Their business is mail order and they ship worldwide. Susan and Art Bayless: "BAYLESS INC." 1111 Via Bayless, Marietta, Georgia. 30066-2770 U.S.A. 1-770-928-1446. I hope this gets to all LANCIA OWNERS its the place!!! My family lived in Italy between 1975 and 1980. During that time my Father purchased a 1967 Lancia Fulvia. He had it restored and has decided to pass it down to me. It needs some body work and a break job, but other then that it is in grat shape. I look forward to working on it and tooling around in it on the weekends. I hope to contact any other Lancia owners who are in northern California as well. Possibly start a club, if there is not one already.

My father bought a Beta sedan in 1975 and I bought a 1977 Scorpion new. I still have the Scorpion which has 13,000 miles on it. I made the mistake of having it turboed. It did add lots of HP but the turbo lag made the car no-so-quick at low speeds. A miss-welded exhaust header caused the turbo to eat itself when injesting some bits of slag form the header. These where all stupid things which I allowed to be done to my car many years ago. My scorpion now sits in my garage next to my Ferrari ( a '61 250 GTE) The Ferrari likes the company but would rather have a running car to share the stable with. I'm thinking of selling the Scorpion and getting a Fulvia coupe. I've also owned a Beta sedan, many Fiat 124's, a few 128's, and even 1 or 2 American cars. Italian cars are much funner.

Hi Lanciafistis. I'm a 37 year old engineer living on the northwest coast of Norway. When I got my licence in 1978, I threw my blue eyes on a Fiat 125 , since that I've had a special passion for italian cars, especially those with twin cam engines. For the time beiing I'm driving around in a Lancia Thema 6V 2.8 liter, but I miss my former 2.0 liter Thema Turbo. As a shopping car, my wife has a Y10. We are living in an area with rough weather, but our south european friends tacles these conditions superbly. Next project? Definitly an Integrale. (But a Thema 832 would also have been nice.)

The other HPE ('76) was brought from Monza Italy nearly two years ago and is still in perfect shape (68 thou km)but because of Finnish taxation system its not possible to drive it legally before 2002.

Nice to see this Lancia Link. I had 2 B24Spyders back in the late 70's, early 80's. One was factory prepared with a one off aluminum high rise bonnet (hood), removeable fiberglass hardtop with posts for the roof rack that carried the spare tires, and a huge grab rail over the glovebox for the passenger to hold on to while the car went down the road. It also had the same kind of indentations that the saloon had for high speed driving lights next to the lower part of the front grill. 16" steel wheels and itts serial # was 1057. I also had a regualr B24S with serial # 1097 as far as I remember. Unfortunately, when I was overseas in PNG, my ex-family sold the cars for spare cash to get by with. They got $3,000 for both as they told me and would never tell me who they sold them to. When I explained the value of the cars that I had been carting around for seven years, just waiting for the time to restore them they wouldn't believe me. the cars were to be my retirement projects but never happened. Sad but true. I hope someone has restored them as the factory car was shipped to Mexico in 1955 for a pan american pilot to run in the race as far as I could find out. anyone knowing about these cars would get a kind and courteous ear to hear what else happened to them. Just curious as I get older.

I am looking for an Integrale Evolution from either France, Germany, Holland, Belgium or Italy at a competitive price. Could someone be kind enough and suggest who I could contact? Any names and contact addresses/phone numbers would be very much appreciated.

Great site! I am the proud owner of the "Betsy", no really. I am about to begin a full restoration of the car. It only has 36k on the speedometer. I had an electrical fire eight years ago and it's sat ever since. I'm having a heck of a time finding parts.

Huib, A great site & it is very encouraging to see so many compliments. Makes we wish my B12 & Touring Convertible were here to tinker with & to drive instead of only during fleeting visits to Australia!

i have a 1965 flaminia 3C 2+2 touring which i acquired in italy and have had it since it was 6 months old. iu put it on blocks in 1972 and am getting ready to restore it. i had found parts for it from a company called algar enterprises in rosemont , pennsylvania, but i quess they sold out or went out of business. lancia was going to open a factory in the usa in 1970, but their racing misfortunes caused them to stop that project.they had filled a factory here with parts and algar bought all. my car is complete, but some of you looking for parts may be able to pick up the thread and rtrace where those partrs went. the model number of mine is 826.140, ser. i think is 1029.it's the best car i ever owned.
