Roots supercharged Aurelia engine, successfully used in the 1952 Carrera Mexicana. Three cars (B20 two liters, 150 HP, 215 km/ h), driven by Maglioli, Bonetto and Cabianca, competed in this race. The car of Maglioli, the only one to finish, was placed fourth absolute. The last section of the race (232 km) was completed at the average speed of almost 200 km/h.
