Aufruf an alle Lancia-Youngtimer-Fahrer in Deutschland.

Hello to all,
I am a fan of most Italian cars. I am presently rebuilding the engine of my everyday driver which is an Alfa Berlina. A while ago I sold my 1959 Ferrari PFcoupe. I was very impressed by that car and want to own and restore another PF built car. I will buy a Flaminia PF coupe. I join you to learn before I buy. Thank you for this wonderful site.

I had a Corgi Lancia Fulvia Zagato as a Child, and it was my favorite toy car. In college I worked nearby a foreign car parts store, owned by a fellow named Michael Seidman, who drove a Aurelia Spyder and a Fulvia 1600HF. He offered me an Appia Pf coupe but sadly it went to the crusher.

About 3 years ago, my mother passed away, and with the insurance, I bought Sylvia, my 1972 Fulvia 1.3S Coupe. Huib has been a huge help in getting my car sorted out. I still need a few things, but Sylvia is the most fun car I ever owned. She is really a work of art.

In 1930, my grandfather purchased a new Dilambda from Lancia at Alperton. He owned this car until his death in 1961. The car was then auctioned (and was sold for £100 !!). I have tried to find this car during the past 15 years, then last week I saw that it had been auctioned in London in 1980.

The auctioneers do NOT seem willing to tell me the details of the purchaser, so I am appealing to Lancia club members to keep their eyes open for me. Its UK registration was HX 1676

SEASON OPENING APRIL 2 & 3, 2005
Place: Markgraeflerland (very southwest corner of Germany)

PROGRAMME
saturday: a tour around the Kaiserstuhl, an old volcano in the river Rhine valley. This mountain is famous for rare plants, animals and very good wine. In the first days of April we expect that thousand of trees will be in full bloom. Then we cross the valley and reach Waldkirch near Freiburg. On the market place there is some space reserved for a car exposition. At last we will start to a Black Forest tour.
sunday: Brunch at "Landhaus Ettenbühl". This is a piece of England inmidst the Markgraeflerland. Our English friend John has developped here a lot of gardens and parks in English stile.

If someone would like to come earlier, maybe on thursday or friday, we can offer rooms in our Lancia Club Hotel in Neuenburg and a visit of the famous car museum in Mulhouse / France.

Please ask for further information, inscription and prices.

ATTENTION Flaminia owners. This season opening should also be our very first Flaminia meeting. All Flaminia owners are very welcome.

Hi, I have a 1964 Fulvia Sedan whereby I have transplanted a 1.3 S1 engine into it. It runs well, very well in fact but do have a problem with an oil leak at front of the engine. This occurs when the engine is running, appreciate very much if anyone can advise how I should address this problem. Thanks

Note from webmaster: Mr Yap, please enter your question again on the Fulvia forum.
First go to the Fulvia forum by clicking here. Then click on New Topic.
My husband and I own two Lancia's. A 1981 zagato (red) and a 1982 beta (blue). Both run, but the beta is badly rusted. There is some rust on the zagato. We love these cars but the beta is literally falling apart from the rust. The beta has 225,000 miles on it. The zagato I think has less than 100,000. Does anyone want these cars? We no longer have the time or patience to keep them up. The beta would be great for parts for the zagato.

I came to work it Italy 5 years ago, and decided, after 10 years in Germany driving BMWs, I needed to look at a quality Italian car (an oxymoron ??)
I first went for an Alfa 166, which I really enjoyed, despite its electrical/electronic problems, but last year I took delivery of a Lancia Phedra Emblema 2.2 JTD. It has not been without some problems (Connect NAV system, Airbag alarms) but I love it.
My wife has a small B&B just 30 minutes from Rome, and we would welcome any members / readers of Viva-Lancia. Mention that you are to get a good rate.
